Building construction
Building construction on own-account and contract terms
We undertake building construction on our own account and on a fee or contract basis. The scope of each project is defined first, covering what is being built and how the work will be carried out.
Delivery models
Three ways to deliver a build

Own account
Own-account construction
We develop and construct buildings on our own account, carrying the project from ground preparation through to completion under our direct supervision.
Fee basis
Fee-based management
For clients who hold their own project, we supervise construction against the architectural plans and manage the work on a fee basis, keeping the client informed at each stage.

Contract basis
Contract-based execution
Under a construction contract we carry out the works to an agreed scope, programme and specification, taking responsibility for execution within the terms of the contract.
Workflow
From structure to handover
01
Structural engineering
Foundations, earthwork and the structural frame are set out and checked against the architectural drawings before work on site begins.
02
Construction and supervision
Structure and envelope are built in sequence, with progress supervised against the plans and the applicable safety standards.
03
Finishing
Internal and external finishes are completed to the specified materials and quality, with defects checked before the building is released.
04
Practical handover
The completed building is handed over in an operational state, with the works closed out against the agreed scope.
